Scholarship Winner is Father, Volunteer and Student Dentist

During his first two years at RSDM, Steven Vassell worked as a landscaper to support his wife and two children, volunteered at a soup kitchen and served as a deacon of his church. He was grateful to receive the Theodore E. Bolden, DDS scholarship in November, which made things easier – and has also become a source of inspiration.

RSDM Goes Global with Annual Dental Missions

RSDM’s dental missions reach underserved patients in the U.S. and overseas, often in places where there are no dentists for many miles and where poverty prevents patients from buying necessities like a toothbrush and toothpaste. Students, faculty and alumni embark on three yearly missions over Spring Break, and this year was no exception.

Student Researchers Shine on Balbo Day
