For the fourth time in 21 years, RSDM was accredited with no recommendations for improvement, said Feldman. “We have now achieved what I believe no other dental school has achieved: four consecutive accreditation site visits over 21-years with an absolutely perfect track record,” she said.
The Commission on Dental Accreditation reviewed more than 1,000 standards and RSDM met all of them, she said. Staff, faculty and students prepared for accreditation for more than two years, and their hard work paid off, said Feldman. She gave special recognition to Dr. Emily Sabato, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs and Dr. Janine Fredricks-Younger, Director of Educational Programs, but praised the collective efforts of all.
“Our students and alumni should be very proud of their school,” she said. “We are truly the best of the best.”
