Cecile A. Feldman Named Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science

Dean Cecile A. Feldman Dean Cecile A. Feldman RSDM Dean Cecile A. Feldman’s leadership and advocacy in dental education, research and delivery of oral health care has earned her induction into the prestigious American Association for the Advancement of Science alongside 11 other Rutgers faculty. AAAS, the world's largest multidisciplinary scientific society, announced Jan. 26 that Feldman was among its new class of fellows. Feldman’s work as a researcher and public health advocate transcends the dental profession. In 2019, she was awarded an $11.7 million National Institutes of Health grant to research the combination of ibuprofen and acetaminophen as an alternative to opioids.
