Rosivack Tapped as Interim Chair of Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Glenn Rosivack

Dr. Glenn Rosivack has been named Interim Chair of Pediatric Dentistry and Community Health, Dean Cecile A. Feldman announced last month.

Rosivack replaces Dr. Christopher Hughes, who resigned at Chair effective December 4. He'll continue to hold the position of Director of the Pediatric Postdoctoral Program.

Rosivack graduated from RSDM with a DMD in 1982. Five years later, he earned a postdoctoral certificate in Pediatric Dentistry and in 1988 attained a Masters in Biodental Sciences from RSDM.

Rosivack has been a faculty member since 1986. In addition to being the Director of the Pediatric Postdoctoral Program, he serves as a Course Director and teaches Continuing Education courses each year. Since last year until 2018, he has served as the President of the Dental School’s Academic Assembly.

On a national level, Rosivack has been a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry’s Council on Scientific Affairs since 2009, serving as a Graduate Student Research Award Reviewer and the Graduate Student Research Award Session Moderator in 2016 and 2017. He is a consultant to the American Dental Association’s Commission on Dental Accreditation serving as a site visitor. Locally, Rosivack has been the Co-Chairman of the Union County Dental Society’s Children’s Dental Health Committee since 1993.

Dean Feldman stated she was "pleased" to name Rosivack to the position. "Please join me in supporting Dr. Rosivack in his interim role,'' she stated in a November announcement to faculty and staff.
